The first volume of "Flame of Recca" was all about setting up the first round of main characters, introducing a villain, and bringing Recca and Yanagi together as more-than-friends-but-less-than-boyfriend/girlfriend. However, the book is fantastic. The characters, both male and female, human and anthropomorphic animals, look attractive, though admittedly, the art is the series' weakest point.
