This book includes one of my favorite Anansi tales, and I love how the clever spider is portrayed by the illustratoras a "real-looking" spider rather than some sort of spider / human hybrid that seems to grace the pages of many children's books. I'm sure they'll find a review for all versions in this hodgepodge. I also used this as a door prize at book club when we read Loving Frank. In her attempt to escape from the sleazy inn where evil cousin has taken her, she runs into Dominick Deveraux. Says it's for middle school but I was able to gear it towards highschoolers as well. What if you could extend that feeling out to other parts of your life, and call upon it throughout the day.
